Geometric grille overview
Suitable for wall or ceiling use, the geometric grilles are constructed of 1/4 inch thick high density plywood with your choice of face veneers of oak, cherry, maple, or paint grade wood.
When design opening dimensions or overall dimensions must be exact these are an excellent choice. Furthermore, they lend themselves well to customizing. Typically the lip on all four sides is 7/8 inch, but if you want it to be 1/16 inch or 4 inches that would not be a problem. Just ask us. On all customs we provide the written specs at the time of order just to make sure we're all on the same page. If it is a very confusing configuration we will also provide shop drawings for your approval at no charge.
People often use these for projects other than heating/cooling systems. For example, they are often used for cabinet inserts, stereo speaker grilles, radiator cabinet fronts and tops, and partitions. Some people even laminate two or three grilles together and use them for floor registers. We laminate them for you at no charge.

We can make any dimensions you need. Often the long sides have narrow borders due to restricted space in the toe kick area. But there is usually a one inch wide border on the left and right for screw holes. Choose a top veneer of oak, cherry, maple, or paint grade.

Choose ply with veneers of oak, cherry, maple, or paint grade wood. Grilles are provided unfinished. Standard sizes come pre-drilled for attachment with brass screws (provided). Custom sizes are available! Custom sizes are not available with pre-drilled screw holes.
