Turn of the Century style registers are a good choice when you have oddball size duct openings since we custom make them in just about any size. Plus, as long as at least one side is in even inches (not fractionals) then we can provide a damper. Many people do not have space for a lip on all four sides of a duct opening. We often make these with a much thinner lip on one side. This happens in situations such as when you have a wall opening, but it is so low on the wall that it is right next to the baseboard or even the floor.

They are typically made of solid steel that is about 1/8 inch thick, however we can also make them in other thickness. Because of this they are a good choice for floor use where you need durability. In addition we can weld steel straps on the back or tighten the pattern for even more strength.

They are powder coated, which provides a paint-like finish but more hardy. If needed we can send them unfinished in the event you want to put on a finish locally (unlikely, but it happens sometimes). In addition, for a 30% upcharge we can make them in solid stainless steel, which is nice if you have all stainless kitchen appliances.

There are 18 patterns to choose from. Some are well suited for historical house styles, others are more contemporary. It is fair to say that there is something for just about everyone.
